I've been reading through the ebook versions of the 11 #BeeAndPuppyCat #comics that originally came out between 2014 and 2016, and overall they were cute!
All except the last three took an anthology approach, with several 5-8 page strips in each issue, which, well, we like that format here :raves:
The weird thing is that they were all about the titular characters, rather than the many secondary characters in the animated series. I'd have loved a headline Bee comic, then a Wizard family, then a Cardamom, or something like that. The whole thing seemed like a missed opportunity to expand the world a lot.
I guess all of them being produced before Lazy In Space was commissioned, perhaps the independent writers had their hands tied as to how far they could push the world- and character building.
