To do something good for our #environment, the #UBChemnitz now has #sustainable, #environmentally friendly printer paper! Steinbeis No. 2 is made from 100% recycled paper without the use of bleaching agents containing chlorine. The #paper has been awarded the #BlueAngel and the EU Ecolabel. There is a difference in colour, so pay attention to this when selecting a Multifunctional device / printer. We will label the device in room 324 for you, where the old paper is still being used.

Two rolled sheets of paper lie on a multifunctional device at Chemnitz University Library. The new sustainable, environmentally friendly paper is labeled “NEW” and the previously used paper is labeled “OLD”. In front of those is a note attached to the device with further information.

You may wonder: What does sustainability have to do with software at all? How can something immaterial like software have an environmental footprint?
