Just me in my natural habitat 👩‍🎨 My workplace is in the dining room and that is also taken over as the kids playroom 😆 But it is cosy and also my gaming corner when I get the time. Where do you create your art? I know a kitchen table or a park bench can be enough but I love to organise my workspace and dream of decorating my art studio!

Loved painting on this textured linen with its lovely revealed edges.. However, building the gesso up a bit more in the painted area so it could be smoothed down to an eggshell smooth surface would have served the painting method used much better I think..

The final portrait combined oil paint and silverleaf and was one of the first pieces I attempted the contour rendering style in oil that I often incorporate in my work now-a-days too..

Pulmonary diseases are less-than-zero fun. I'd not wish my yesterday on more than a scant handful of people.

So far, today is better. My chest is a little tight, but I can breathe without undue discomfort or the use of my nebulizer. I'll likely need it this afternoon, but I hope not, as I'm still pretty wiped out from three Albuterol vials and the coughing/choking fits that came with it.
