Maybe a lovely book is more your speed? Something for the fantasy lover in your family or friend group. I have books about enchanted forests, witches and cheeky little monsters! This was my first Kickstarter project - 'Strangehollow', a vast enchanted forest! buff.ly/G5alCXt #enchantedforest #art
And that really is it now*
Thank you for joining me on this wee journey 😁

* I mean, I say that, but I will have no shame in extended this thread if I find something else
I did say *nearly* finished didn't I?
Bit annoyed I didn't get better video of this, but first & foremost we go to be there, not to record it, so occasional poor footage is the price we pay.
This was a really nice bit though. The path that runs alongside the loch had a series of big flowers overhead that were activated by movement so they opened & lit up as people passed by.
It was very lovely.

And we're back to lights and trees. I've nearly finished my 2025 collection now. Promise.

We interrupt this annual thread of lights & trees for our weekly scheduled nonsense of dancing... accompanied by lights & trees.
So hooray, it's Friday! Have a good Halloween weekend, if you possibly can 🎃

Part of the route is a short wooden bridge over a narrow part of Dunmore Loch, and it is always blinged up. This year was super swirly, & I liked it a lot, but not quite as much as last years when they turned it into a giant glitter ball bridge. I'm not sure they're going to be able to beat that one for me.

Evening all. Back to the thread of sparkly lights & big trees. Also bees. I told you there were more bees 😁
First big bee is part of the huge projected show on the loch, the others are in the distance behind the boathouse which was temporarily transformed into nectaropolis (the bee in the previous post lives there).

And I must pause this thread for today, but as I leave I give you an AWESOME BEE!
I should really have saved it, as there is more bee stuff to come, but it involves some video editing & I am impatient because I LOVE THIS BEE :dancing_bee:

Alongside the lighting of the formidable trees there are projections onto the rocky walls in the forest too. Swirly!

Right at the beginning of the walk is the 'living networks' mini maze - a simple hall of mirrors but MORE... So squiggly! So colourful! So interesting to photograph with the 360 camera!
If you're interested in such things the bottom two pics (the 360 ones) are different projections of the same photo.

Each October, when we can, we visit The Enchanted Forest. It's a glorious show of light & sound in Faskally Woods near Pitlochry. We follow the footpath around Loch Dunmore & oooh & aaah at the loveliness.
& because I'm me I tend to take a few photos.
& because I'm me I post them here & shout LOOK AT THE PRETTY SPARKLY TREES & LOCH at all you lovely people.
So. Brace yourselves. This thread might take a while, but LOOK AT THE PRETTY SPARKLY TREES & LOCH!
