I go by Mot. He/him I suppose. Midlife crisis aged. And I live in the Midwest. I #garden and there's plenty of lakes to visit. I get to do #haskell at my job which is nice.

I'm a #gamer and big into #srpgs or any #rpgs. I'm the #ForeverDM for my #ttrpg group. #dnd #pathfinder #knave some others though I frequently #gamedesign my own for a campaign. I struggle to get the writing portion of work done so most of my settings and plots live inside my head.

#Introduction

2 months ago I decided I'd like to run an RPG campaign and started scribbling ideas on paper.

A month ago I finally picked an RPG system to use.

2 weeks ago I started hunting down cool artwork.

A week ago, I started copy-pasting rules from 4 versions of the same game into a document I could send my friends.

And now I'm hunting down a OGL system I could use instead. Because, what use is my super cool illustrated booklet if I cannot show it to complete strangers?

I'm thinking about setting up an online D&D game. (A second one, in addition to my inperson game.) I was talking to my partner about it, and she asked me:

"Would I be able to join this game?"

To which I replied:

"Part of me wants to say yes... but the rest of me wants to say no because I CAN'T TALK TO YOU ABOUT STORY STUFF FOR OURS! I want to practice villainous speeches but I can't because you're right here! I cant talk about story arcs or how I'm going to give you emotional damage-er, awesome story points because you're in the game!"
