I took this for #52frames #filltheframe, but I ended up submitting the #Gingko leaves that I recently posted instead. I still like this, but of course I'm biased since it's my #cat. She looks a bit fierce, which she isn't really, but she's ambivalent about the camera. Lots of #gingko trees in my neighborhood, and until yesterday they looked wonderful in fall colors. A day of rain later, and they shed all the leaves - there's now a thick yellow carpet of leaves under each tree! I really like the fan shape, and I think the water droplets and structure in the leaves adds some visible interest. #52frames #filltheframe #photography #darktable #nikon #d200

Herbst mag ich. Leider ist die Zeit der bunten Blättern, Nebel, Kakao und kastaniensammelnden Kindern kurz. Aber intensiv. Ich mag das leuchtende Gelb der Gingkoblätter, die Herbststürme und das Beobachten von anderen Leuten, die aus dem Stand in Vorweihnachtsstress fallen. Herbst finde ich gut.

I like autumn. Unfortunately, the season of colorful leaves, fog, hot chocolate, and children collecting chestnuts is short. But intensive. I like the bright yellow of the gingko leaves, the autumn storms, and watching other people falling into pre-Christmas stress. I like autumn.
