I really liked Doom 3 when I was younger. Of course, I couldn't play it for extended periods of time because it fried my scaredy cat nerves, but I liked it nonetheless.

Jump scare survival horror was still fresh to me, and my first PC games were Doom and Hexen. So I guess the combination just worked for me.

It runs perfectly on my CachyOS desktop, but I'm starting to feel dumb for making note of that because I haven't encountered any games yet that don't. Incredibly weird timeline.
