The five Line 3 () which were previously cancelled is expected to be operational in 2027.

These are optional stations to be reintroduced, with implementation expected to take two or three years.

As of December 25 last year, the LRT3 project had achieved 91.68% completion, with the commencement of the line operations targeted for March 1 next year.

Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad () was at Movenpick Hotel & Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur International Airport from 6 to 7 November 2023, 8:30am to 5:00pm for International Symposium: Sustainable Railway: Connecting Nations, Preserving Futures.

They had booth for the visitors to learn more about the (LRT Line) project, including the boring machine () & the U-trough technology.

A fellow transit user known as Ernest Wong is making some kind of update to the improved RapidKL transit map.

Two new labels are added to highlight and given emphasis about two changes to the map:
1. LRT3 - isn’t opened yet; will only open in 2025
2. KTM Skypark - line is suspended since Feb 2023; alternative bus routes to airport shown

The labels are now pasted on top of official maps in some stations in Kuala Lumpur.

Prime Minister’s announcement of a RM4.7 billion allocation in Budget 2024 to revive the plan to build five stations on the line in that was cancelled in 2018 has raised eyebrows.

The 37km LRT3 line will connect to in , and is currently under construction.

With budget of RM4.7 billion, the average cost to build each is roughly RM940 million.

An opposition MP wants the government’s assurance that its decision to revive the construction of five stations in the will not affect the progress of the project.

As of the third quarter of 2023, about 86.5% of the LRT3 project had been completed and it is expected to be completed by March 2025.

Last week, it was announced that five LRT stations in the Klang Valley that were cancelled in 2018 would be revived.
