So I had my lunch at The Mesquite Pit in Granbury today. I had been trying to find a good spot that wasn't too expensive for a bit. The only place I knew that was small was Risky's in Benbrook which is 40 minutes North.
I actually took the time to look at the online menu as went for lunch. Granted, its a lot of calories but its lunch.
I can walk the distance between the Laundromat and the Gas station and get some of my food moving to my muscles instead of my fat.
Had a two meat plate. The Brisket was good and the smoked sausage nice as well. Might buy a pound to use for lunch over a week sometime.
