A bit of the #liminal hotel we stayed in last summer for #MinimalMonday. The hotel included a waterpark with no water and woke up the next morning to a flea market in the main lobby. Fun times.

A barbed wire fence with metal poles is in snow several inches deep. The fence makes a 90 degree turn and continues into the distance. A few thin, single, dried plant stems also poke out of the snow. The image is all white except for the minimal fence.

The Topkapi Palace harem, a secluded section of the iconic Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, served as the private quarters for Ottoman rulers and their families. Dating back to the 16th century, it housed the sultan's wives, concubines, and children.
