The 320 by 240 resolution screen was (and still is) surprisingly watchable, and file sizes at this resolution are tiny by modern standards. I remember converting showsto watch on long trips.

Vintage double deck boombox found for cheap on a garage sale this morning 😻
Doing some deep office cleaning today, came across this artifact. I’m assuming this is from ~1989ish.
How does one destroy 75 or so old CDs? I found a box of old backups of photos and files mostly from the early 2000's and have no idea how to destroy them safely.
Info says to break them in a towel or clamp a bunch of them together and drill through them, but was wondering others had actually tried anything better?
