A veces, sobre todo cuando se empieza en esto, elegir 𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗿í𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗯 no es fácil.

No creo que exista “la” librería perfecta, más bien casos de uso en que una se adapta mejor que las otras.

Quería escribir un poco sobre esto y analizar las alternativas: #leaflet, #Openlayers, #maplibre

No es una comparativa épica ni una lucha de titanes, solo un repaso tranquilo para entender qué ofrece cada una y cuándo tiene sentido usarlas.

Van de week hadden we een discussie aan tafel, na het krijgen van de kandidatenlijsten, over het vermoeden dat de meeste SGP-kandidaten in de bible belt wonen. To be honest, I was a bit worried if #OpenLayers would be able to handle the transparency of 1176 WMTS Layers simultaneously 😱. Actually no problem for this great #javascript #gis mapping library, also on mobile Thx for the great work 💪 @openlayers

For the past 2 weeks or so, I have been fiddling with #OpenLayers for #PixelMap, and finally got to a version where it works sufficiently enough. I will be tinkering more on it in the future, but I am happy with the results so far.

I'm currently trying to integrate #OpenLayers with #PixelMap, and while I spent several hours getting it to work, it finally clicked and I now have control over what I'm doing. It's weird with their documentation, being either false or outdated, I had to look for third party tutorials and forums to make it behave as I would like, and still it was hard.

@nilz Man kann GPS Tracks mit den Standard Kartenlibraries (z.B. #leaflet, #openlayers, etc) auf den unterschiedlichsten Karten einblenden. Ob so etwas schon als Standard (mit Auswahl nach Zeit oder …) implementiert wurde, ist mir nicht bekannt. Auf der OSM Seite kann man sich alle öffentlich hochgeladen GPS Tracks für ein Gebiet anzeigen lassen: Hier für #Wuerzburg https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/62464#map=12/49.7804/9.9432&layers=G. Hier ist geht es eher um die Genauigkeit der eingezeichneten Wege zu den gefahrenen Wegen.
