An open notebook with a blue starry galaxy cardstock glued to the page, and a stencil of a snake silhouette made with texture paste. On the other side of the notebook, gondola ski lift has been fashioned out of cardstock, the pattern of which is lime green and white polka dots and pink flowers. Transparency material was cut and glued to it to look like windows.

I've been doing more papercrafts these days, and I miss when we used to swap inchies all the time online. so I got out my paints and scraps and put these together for fun today. These are all 1 inch square and were made from snack box cardboard.

Eight 1-by-1 inch pieces of cardboard painted pink, green, and gold. They have stickers depicting cats, dogs, coffee, a birthday cake, an envelope, and an ipod.

Six of the tiny paintings; it's upside down I'm sorry. I took them on my phone and didn't have a chance to edit them. The cats say "Meow" and the dogs say "Woof"

These are upside down too, whoops. Two dogs, a cat, the little pink ipod, an envelope saying "You've got mail," and a birthday cake.

Woohoo, it's snowing! These 3D snowflakes are really easy and lots of fun to make — *and* you can create a gazillion different variations with just one kit. You can even print the design on different paper colors and mix and match to make brilliant rainbow snowflakes!

That’s my mantra today as I work with the exquisite sheets of hand-marbled paper by Laura Berretti, trimming them to make jackets for the forthcoming Thoreau booklet, “The Angle of Dazzle.” It’s an honor and also slightly terrifying to cut these pieces of art.
