Anybody know how to turn off #reflow in #Acrobat? I turned it on to check a document I'm remediating, now it can't be turned off. (#Adobe describes a method that requires creating a totally new user profile, which I'll try after this, but I need a better method as this is something I need to do pretty routinely.)

Mein #Fairphone3Plus ist wieder tot, nicht lange nachdem ich es durch einen #Reflow im Backofen wiederbelebt hatte.
Nicht schlimm, weil ich vorgewarnt war und die Daten sofort nach der #Reparatur gesichert habe.
Etwas nervig natĂŒrlich schon, weil ich totzdem gehofft hatte es jetzt doch einfach noch zwei Jahre nutzen zu können.
Vielleicht backe ich es auch noch einmal, wahrscheinlich geht es eher als Ersatzteillager an andere Leute raus deren Mainboard noch am Start ist.

At this time, as far as I can see, best-practice for using #Reflow in #Acrobat is:
1. Never use it on an unsaved document.
2. Never save changes while it's toggled on.
3. Always toggle it off before shutting down Acrobat.
4. Always restart Acrobat after using it.
Only by following all these rules have I been able to be certain that reflow would not corrupt existing documents.

I've attended to my very first #smd #soldering #reflow #workshop this summer at #Homemade summer #camp by SGMK.
So I have my first ever âproperâ soldering station, and it has a hot air reflow gun for #SMD components.
Is it worth my time to practice doing reflow on something like this from Aliexpress (see image and itâs description) itâs as cheap as chips?
Or should I be safe doing my first reflow on a real board if I follow the tips and tricks on the intertubes?
Yeah, pretty sure that's not gonna work. This #SMD #reflow #soldering might take a bit more practice than I hoped. Also I need to find all my tweezers, that was finicky with a poking stick. But only slightly burned my finger!

Using cage nuts to raise the #pcb in the T-962A reflow oven. Getting better results than with old pcbâs on the tray due to slightly better airflow.
