Does anyone else share a Reminders list with another person and think the syncing is getting worse?
Syncing on reminders, even between devices was never amazing, but I'm pretty confident we've been missing recurring reminders recently. Where neither person can be 100% sure they didn't check something off.
Neither of us have upgraded to the new OS on phone or computer.
Concerning if such basic functionality is regressing.

Besides the not ready for prime-time UI changes in #macOS #Tahoe:
Does anybody know if #Calendar and #Reminders tasks integration via #CalDAV / #VTODO e.g. via #nextcloud has seen some work or is it just as broken as it has been in the past years?
I know, #Apple doesn' care about being compatible or open or supporting technology standards but let me have some hope for a week once a year only to have it shattered by the richest company on the planet 🥴
PS: Yes I am very tired of Reminders butchering Todos and then no longer updating due dates etc. If it wasn't so sad it would be highly hilarious.
On #Google #Pixel 10, Daily Hub is your personalized space with summaries and suggestions to simplify your day and help you reach your #goals.
What's on Daily Hub:
At the top, you can see an overview of your day with weather and travel info, #calendar highlights, and important personal #reminders.
Just below, you'll find curated content from supported apps you frequently use, such as #YouTube, #Spotify, Google TV, Pocket Casts, and #Audible.
I am finding that instead, just having the app there with the badge showing past due items to be a better way to get me to do things. Make the number go away!!!!

It's been 5+ years that natural language input in the Reminders app has been broken for some (or all?) non-English languages. Still happening in iOS 26 as well. Come on! #iOS26 #Reminders

I guess I have to assume that it's this "pro" feature of getting reminders if I forget to get my reminders which stops me from getting reminders. Absolutely FUCK TODOIST, seriously. I have come to the conclusion that I need to make my own reminders app; I am so tired of this shit. No app other than Alarmed on iPhone has ever worked for me, so I will make a clone. My compost has maggots in it now thanks to this fucking app #todoist #reminders
Despite all flaws of apple #reminders as a GTD tool it is still the only one which:
a) My wife also agrees to use
b) Costs nothing and has collaborative projects built-in
I personally don't care much about doing tasks in #orgmode , #omnifocus , or #reminders: GTD is about methodology, I have a working one for any of them. Also, task are transitive knowledge, they are not worth much *per se*. For me org-mode is maybe the weakest solution of them all due to finicky and conflict-prone syncing.

iOS Reminders Tip. A good feature in reminders is that you can create sections within a reminder list. For example, I have a Trip Packing List where I list out everything I need for a trip. Well within that list I have created sections; like bathroom, clothes, electronics, and even a section for things to do before I leave. Having things organized in sections just helps me make sure nothing is forgotten. You can even rearrange the sections in any order you like. Each section is a heading to make it easier to navigate between sections. Sections can be added to any list that you want. It is just a really good way of organizing your reminders within a list. Here is how to create sections, and how to rearrange them within a list. First, creating a section. 1, Open reminders and go to the list you want to add 1 or more sections. 2, Double tap on the more button. 3, In the pop up window, double tap on new section. After a section has been created, new section changes to manage sections, and that is what you would double tap on to create more sections. 4, You will land in an edit box, type the name you want to give the section. 5, Now go back to the top of the screen and double tap on the done button. Now, rearranging sections. 1, Go to the list you want to rearrange the sections. 2, Double tap on the more button, then double tap on manage sections. 3, Double tap on edit sections. 4, All of your sections will be listed with a reorder after each title. Just double tap and hold with one finger on the section you want to move, and slowly moving the finger up or down. Once its where you want it, just release the finger. 5, When finished double tap the done button at the top of the screen. I hope this is helpful, and it helps you organize things better! Enjoy! #Reminders #List #Sections #Organize #Create #Edit #iOS #Voiceover #Tip
