Four shipping pallets have been tie-strapped together, in the corner of a backyard (garden) to form a composting bin. One of the pallets is partially open to demonstrate the gate that allows access.

Four shipping pallets have been tie-strapped together, in the corner of a backyard (garden) to form a composting bin. A fifth has been put up to form the back of the second bin that will be completed when I get two more pallets. A small peanut-butter-colored spaniel/heeler/beagle mix stands guard, hoping a squirrel appears that needs chasing.

I'm putting together pallet-compost bins. To reuse/recycle, I asked a local business if I could have some. "Sure, we just throw them out" said the manager on duty and now I've got enough pallets for a two bin approach.
