Thank you, #CDProjectRed! It took an army of #Linux geniuses and one button masher (me) to finally make #Cyberpunk2077 look good on a non-Nvidia, RDNA 3 GPU. I just realised that for the entire time, NTSYNC in Proton-CachyOS wasn't enabled. And when I did enable it, the game turned into a quality upscaled 60+ FPS kind-of-ray-traced symphony @ 1440p. No Optiscaler, no spoofing. Download. Pre-set two environment variables. Play.

If I knew AMD had this app for their graphics cards, I would have bought one earlier, this is how much I appreciate the convenience 🙂 It has some problems with mouse click precision on a monitor with lower resolution, but I use it to play casually with a game controller, so this is the only negative thing I have to say about it. ->

Un peu galère de faire marcher mon nouveau PC #AM5 avec un #Ryzen #7800X3D une #Radeon #RX7800XT Asrock Phantom Gaming, et une carte mère #MSI_B650 Tomahawk Wifi…
Montage assez facile, mais il refusait de booter avec les barettes de RAM dans les slots 1 et 3, il fallait utiliser les slots 2 et 4 🙄 … Et attendre une minute que ça démarre (apparemment il y a un test de la RAM à chaque démarrage ?).

Incredibile. Attualmente [qui in Italia] le nuove #RX7700XT e #RX7800XT sono disponibili solo e soltanto su Amazon, vendute e spedite da venditori di terze parti. Questo, nonostante PowerColor, Sapphire, Asus e XFX hanno già messo in commercio le proprie.
