Three O’Clock High is one of my favorite movies EVER. In my 20’s, while hitting on girls at bars or shows, I would tell them my name is “Buddy Revell”. 😂

I already own an ORIGINAL 1987 pressing of this. Not just because I love this movie, but because I love Tangerine Dream. Particularly the music they made for films.

So why did I buy this?
Because I wanted the huge poster.
That’s it.
No other reason.

Welcome to record collecting.
It’s hilarious.

By the way, if you havent seen Three O’Clock High, you’re life will remain empty and unfulfilled until you do.

HERES an interesting one for you.
Especially if you’re not Canadian. It took me moving here to have ever heard of them, but folks up here remember them well.

A Neon Rome were a band on the brink of stardom. They made this ONE album, cited as being a bizarre mix of Velvet Underground, The Sex Pistols, Jane’s Addiction and The Doors.

They had a mercurial and electric frontman by the name of Neal Arabic, who quickly became disillusioned and fed up with being in a band and the music industry in general.
There’s SO MANY MORE LAYERS to that dude, but ultimately, he shaved his head, took a vow of silence, discovered yoga, and that was… that.

New Heroin is a VERY engaging record. One of those “burn bright and fast” kinda albums.

Ultimately, the band is most remembered for being factionalized in the Bruce McDonald (another Canadian legend) film Roadkill.

Lunchtime request from my son.

Ever since he saw Deliver Me From Nowhere, my son has been going at Springsteen’s music, particularly the meat and potatoes #70s snd #80s Boss.
He was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of awesome singles Bruce has, and although he himself has added all of the Bruce albums up til Tunnel Of Love to his own collection, he spends most of his time listening to the hits.

He didn’t know I had this, and now that he does, I’ll wager that it will mysteriously find its way into HIS record collection (which is now pushing close to 300).

This collection is worth owning because BOTH “Streets Of Philadelphia” and “Secret Garden” are on here.

Pretty solid Bruce compilation.
