:CW: Jurassic Park-like carnivorous chickens with harmless geckos

Some of the chickens were just curious about the geckos. But one of the younger hens, after learning to eat a gecko earlier in the day, was quick about whisking a gecko away from the boss rooster and the closest hens. Sumomo-chan ran off to feast on her own. I'm not sure if she got the tail too or if it was left for another bird to find. The geckos seem sweet with soft bodies and kind eyes. The eat bugs. We should keep as many around as we can. They look cool with the toes plastered onto windows too. But we'll probably have enough anyway, there were a lot of hatched eggs on the inside of a wooden apple box. And one of today's escaped into a bush. I hope the little lizard does okay in the azalea.
