And for all the professors, teachers, parents: the @rpimag has the cool magazine called HELLO WORLD.

I have also a downloader here, to download them all, but still: if you want to support the great work of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, consider buying the issues/books or even better make a subscription!

@rpimag

The same for Docker:
It was more like a proof-of-concept, but I guess no one needs it?

I will maybe discontinue it too, but let me know if you are interested.

as you can see, the @rpimag downloader is not working at the moment for docker and Windows.
I guess I will discontinue Windows, no need for a powershell script, as there is the bash available on Windows.

But I'm happy if someone wants to help me out with that. I'm not using Windows privately for more than 15 years. so if you want it, please help out #windows

I haven't worked on the #MagPiDownloader for a long time.

But yesterday & today I was able to fix my downloader, finally!

You are now able to download all the regular issues and the books from the
@rpimag again!

If you like the magazine and books, please buy them and support them. They are doing for years a great work, and I hope they will continue.

Quite excited about this.It's the start of a new series for me in this months

If you want to be in control of your data and privacy, this may be of interest. A month-by-month detailed deep dive into building and running your own cloud server. In part one, we build the hardware and get a local NAS running using OpenMediaVault.

#themagpi very late for #magpimonday but just managed to pair my pi-top [3] with my Raspberry Pi 5. Just need to tidy it up.... And get the audio working... But it works a treat!

#themagpi a good Monday morning when you find this on your doorstep

Got my #TheMagPi , from my local supermarket, in time to read it before Christmas. Lovely to enjoy some downtime with it.

Some of you might have been following my occasional posts about building and developing for the Raspberry Pi Pico GameBoy Micropython DIY handheld, designed by YouMakeTech.

If you grab this month's issue of The MagPi magazine (order or download for free at magpi.raspberrypi.com/issues/1), you'll find detailed instructions on how to build your own, which supplement and expand on YouMakeTech's original guide at youmaketech.com/raspberry-pi-p

It's an amazing little device to develop for. There's all the appeal of a fantasy console, with restrictions that make it easy to keep your software from getting out of hand and a resolution low enough to design sprites for on squared paper, but it's actually a real physical handheld.

I don't even have a 3D printer - I found a local printing service via CraftCloud (craftcloud3d.com/).

Parts laid out for the Pico Game Boy - a 3d printed case and buttons, prototyping board, a screen and connection cable, a Raspberry Pi Pico, some buttons, and a piezo buzzer.Bits required to cut, drill and fit the PCBFitting the cable loom into the case alongside the boards. Yes, my soldering is gross in this pic. Wrong preset for lead-free on an unfamiliar soldering station.It's a small game-boy looking handheld. It plays Tetris. (But it can play much more, including games you create yourself.)
