Timeboxing is a method I frequently use to plan nearly every day. Manually adding events is clunky, so I built a Shortcut to automate it. Ich hatte mal experimentiert mit https://timingapp.com/?lang=de und war schockiert wie zerfleddert meine Arbeitszeit war (die Zeiten haben mich damals gar nicht so interessiert, mehr das "was machst du eigentlich so den Tag über?"). Daraufhin habe ich mich mit Konzepten wie #Timeboxing oder #Hyperscheduling auseinandergesetzt (letzteres ist nix, imho).

I've tried in the past, pre lectureship, but things never just stuck. Same shit day in day out.
This week, however, it did help. Lectureships are full of context switching. Although I did have to juggle and extend boxes, I think TimeBoxing will end up being useful...

Yesterday, I had a lot of travel, and planned tasks. Timeboxing worked in that situation.
Today, I have 1 appointment, and perhaps some other tasks.
Depends on calls, events, etc. So the appointment is boxed, on my calendar.
