Сегодня наткнулся на GNU Stow, хотя ранее я натыкался на YADM (Yet Another Dotfiles Manager).

В целом, достаточно просто. Даже можно спокойно обернуть в git. По сути то, что нужно для создания удобрных и легкопереносимых дофайлов.
Пока что протестировал на .bashrc - работает.
Надо подправить свою "документацию" (заметки).
