I don’t normally shoot portraits with a 35mm lens from this aspect but I think it worked this time!

It'a a place that I truly love: The Old Man of Storr on the Trotternish Ridge is probably the most famous walk, and -maybe- the most beautiful attraction, on the Isle of Skye.
The Old Man (Bodach an Stòr in Gaelic), is a 55-metre-high pinnacle of basalt rock which is all that remains of a 2,800-million-year-old volcanic plug. Love it !

@jlow I agree! They are incredible animals. Very nervous and aloof and when the pack squabbles you can tell that these are not domestic dogs but powerful wild animals.

Wolves and wolfdogs are such beautiful animals with a very complex social dynamic. While this guy was interested in me to see what I was up to , he was more nervous and skittish than what you might think and very much kept his distance.
