The M48 #Severn #Bridge (or potentially both of them, I can't tell whether it is)! Taken over 20mi away in Standish Wood (near Randwick and Whiteshill, Stroud; roughly 290m altitude afaik) using a #GooglePixel 6 Pro. Edited in #AdobePhotoshop 2021.

I know the Cardiff one from Weston was far (~20km), but this definitely takes the impressive capabilities of this phone further. Sure, the image isn't high quality but I'm not bothered when it looks as beautiful as this.

I'm not sure how you calculate focal length, but it sounds like this would have been equivalent to 520mm? I don't have a clue.

The ruined stone towers of Kilchurn Castle stand proudly on a small promontory, perfectly mirrored in the still waters of Loch Awe on an autumn morning. The medieval fortress, with its weathered grey walls partially covered in yellow-green foliage, is dramatically framed by the rolling Highland mountains beneath a bright blue sky with wispy clouds, whilst the loch's muddy shoreline is decorated with scattered marsh grasses and seasonal debris.

A weathered piece of driftwood juts diagonally from the muddy shoreline of Loch Awe, its reflection perfectly mirrored in the calm waters, whilst the rugged Scottish Highlands rise dramatically in the background, their autumn-tinged slopes glowing golden-brown beneath a bright blue sky, with a line of deciduous trees forming a natural boundary between the mountains and the loch's edge.

A Victorian-era railway bridge, painted in deep forest green, spans gracefully across Loch Awe, its latticed iron framework and stone pillars casting perfect reflections in the still waters beneath.
