Yes, its true that mostly everyone has access to a high-quality camera in their pocket, photography is so much more than snapping a picture. Much of the artistry lies in what happens to the image after its taken. Its knowing how to accent the colors and values within the photograph to bring out the dynamism within an image. When done correctly, the results can be a truly unique composition. Editing is a photographer’s style, their voice. Each learns their own tricks and preferences, which makes their images uniquely their own.

The first image is with edits, the second is the raw, unedited photograph.
