Somehow I never thought about that but it's a pretty neat way to adjust things that are otherwise not manipulable. If you also have a keyboard⌨️ pretty convenient to change component values too!👌

Finally put time into refactoring the first interior mapping shader. Here's a basic example with tiling & offset. It uses tangent space & cube maps. Tried my best to comment as much as I understood of the code 4 learners.

I have new follows since jumping onto mastodon. You see me lately spending time on shaders & mapping stuff but my main passion project is an IK Animation System for the web. Hopefully after I manage to finish modelling MsCosplay I'll have incentive to continue work on the project as I'll like to make her walk around on all these lovely maps & maybe after many many years finally make a webgl game from scratch 😪

The kids and I made t-shirts with fabric markers. I have photos of the kids' shirts, but none without their faces and I'm not comfortable sharing those on the public internet before they can make that choice for themselves.

Taking the week off from work, so of course the first thing I do is jump back into . 😅
Taking another run at punch detection in Heavy Bag Trainer (davehill00.github.io/box/dist/). Once I get that to a good spot, I’m thinking about adding an AR mode to give more awareness of your surroundings when you’re working out.
Added bonus: the amount of cardio exercise I’m getting each day is on the upswing.
