Now that three.js supports BC5/EAC normal maps, I've updated the spark.js gltf demo with new texture assets.

Last time I simply used gltf-transform with default settings, but this time I tailored the settings to each specific texture type and the resulting quality is much better:

Project Dogwalk is a Blender Studio R&D project with its goal to build a small, polished game in just four months using an open source pipeline, with Blender as the Digital Content Creation hub, Godot as the game engine, and glTF as the exchange format at the center. The end result was a deep validation of how far glTF has come as a reliable bridge between authoring and runtime environments.

JFC. So it seems that at some point I must have accidentally selected a mesh while editing actions, which made #Blender automatically permanently store it as a glitched, broken animation which the #gltf exporter insisted on trying to export even when the mesh was not exported.

This is broken as hell.

This may be the problem: I see several actions have been "stashed" even though I never said to. I think these may be being read as "orphaned actions" by #blender 's #GLTF exporter.

I can't find any clue as to how to delete these stashed actions. There's no real mention of them on Google searches.

Obviously, I tried hitting "delete" on them. That deletes the whole armature.

If I export as FBX, #blender exports just fine. This is specific to the #GLTF blender exporter: it appears to be reading... something... as an action, even though there's none there, and then crashing when it tries to export the non-action.

Why. How do I work around it?

Got #GLTF animations hooked up in my #Vulkan renderer today. I'm bottle-necking on pushing the instance bone data for each model each frame, about 200, 256-mat4 models at once. I could compact it, but there might also be something off with how I'm moving the data around.

Download and try my viewer it works better on smartphones than on desktops for Now! I hope to add some other features.
You need only the html file, and the internet connection or download all and change source path of the script to the local in the html, and works also without connection.. it's 59.8KB runs smoothly without installation and handles PBR models in glTF!
