Then again updating #akkoma would reset it.
Maybe code a js, and do a "share to" to convert on my own ?

I managed to set up scanbd on Debian Linux today: this means I can just press a button on my Canon CanoScan LiDE 35 flatbed scanner to scan a page and put it in a folder, instead of mucking around on the computer. It took me all morning, not sure what the trick was but probably forcing it to use IPv4 (with ListenStream=address:port) instead of IPv6 (default with just ListenStream=port) helped:

Here's my scanbd script, which scans A4 at 300dpi (25MB PPM), then makes a 100dpi processed PNG suitable for text documents (typically ~200kB), in ~/Scans:
