Hvad kan byrummet egentlig på en grå vinterdag? Pladsen foran Psykiatrisk Center på Carl Nielsens Allé i København, der før var en trafikeret parkeringsplads, blev i 2023 forvandlet til et grønt og sanseligt byrum, der samtidig sikrer området mod oversvømmelse ved skybrud.

Her i de søvnige vintermåneder står prydgræssernes fine aks og svajer i vinden, og de mange frøstande fra byrummets stauder spejler nærmest de stynede gamle lindetræer.

Grønne bylandskaber med et beplantningsdesign, der er gennemtænkt til at skabe værdi året rundt, er en meget velkommen erstatning for den bildominerede asfaltjungle.

Projektet er udarbejdet af Werk Arkitekter for Københavns Kommune

Mastodon has no plans on expanding the content cache to feature retaining “favorited” posts. In short, when the cache wipes history, your and your users’ favorites will go too; like dust in the wind, and that’s now considered “by design”.

What an awful design.

A very important point. There is no need for any of us to congregate in silo's, even I'd argue, for professional reasons. If we want an inclusive world (for all) then I'd suggest we avoid personal and professional silos.
