Thanks to some new sharp tools I managed to keep carving, while my dentist tools were too blunt.
I ended up stabbing myself in the finger with the pointy knife thingie, fortunately there was my bone to block it 🙏🫣🤣

Spiny leaves of a small holly sprout. Completely lacking chlorophyll so the leaves are mostly white but suffused with pink anthocyanin pigments. It’s growing from the ground near the stump of a felled holly tree. There are some green and variegated pieces nearby and it’s likely that this is a sport from a chimaeric variegated variety that has lost the green component of its meristem
