This morning I drove to an appointment that was along the route of pretty much my old #commute. I can't believe I used to do it every day! 40 minutes of creeping along, burning petrol, listing to radio4 and burning out my clutch.

It's weird how it took me 35–40 minutes to go from my home in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, to Rockefeller Center, way up in Midtown, and yet going from my home to Brookfield Center takes at least 30 minutes. Even though it's so much closer.
Sure, I took an express train, and I also have to walk an extra 10 minutes after the subway. I just didn't realize those 2 things would matter so much.
