Version 2.43.0 of DeltaTouch is rolling out, bringing an often requested feature to select more than one attachment for sending.
Note for Ubuntu Touch users: In previous versions, we missed to disable debug logging of notifications. This means that the start of message texts along with the displayed name of the chat/contact have been written to the syslog. If you took some measures, like encryption or (auto)deletion of messages, to protect your data in case your device was stolen or lost, the protection has been subverted. To recover, you can clean the log after updating the app. The following command will erase the (complete, not only DeltaTouch related) log:
sudo journalctl --user --rotate --vacuum-time=1s
This info will appear on all affected devices, too.
@nickrauchen your poster is misleading, it says "join the fediverse" and then you recommend Signal, a centralized service, that is not federated in any way, please instead recommend something that is federated like #DeltaChat and/or #xmpp

Ich habe letztens einen Artikel gelesen, in dem stand, dass DeltaChat z. B. im Iran zur Kommunikation verwendet wird. https://webxdc.org/

Delta is not located next door to Meta and Alphabet in Mountain View, Silicon Valley. Its open source based in Freiburg Germany. It doesn't have a big marketing budget and doesn't make million dollar losses https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/824506840
Delta is a great app in my opinion. Super easy to get your non-techie friends started with.
Also the decentralised nature means its not dependent on AWS, US-EAST-1 and Cloudflare.
@ExiledKing I think #deltachat would be more suitable for close friends.
Someone needs to add #DeltaChat channel support in #OpenClaw. I think it would be a great fit for getting more DeltaChat users. Although maybe the wrong kind?
