Spent 1 month analyzing 500+ OnlyFans creators' revenue patterns.

Finding: 67% lose subscribers NOT due to content quality, but due to platform discoverability failures.

Let's break down the economics of invisible loss and why centralized platforms consistently fail at search infrastructure 🧡

The fundamental shift:

2012: User experience is the product
2024: User attention is the product

You went from customer to inventory.

Your time is what they sell to advertisers.

March 15, 2016 wasn't gradual decay. It was a specific decision.

And we can make a different one: snugg.social

Conservatives in the European Parliament ( @eppgroup ):

Dear citizens, vote for us, we'll end a couple of your fundamental rights enshrined in the #constitution. πŸ†’

On January 30, the EU Council voted to endorse a two-year extension of "Chat Control 1.0". This is a significant setback. If passed, it legalizes the mass scanning of private messages and photos by US tech giants using error-prone AI, without any suspicion of crime. It also paves the way for mandatory ID verification (ending anonymity) and effectively bans anyone under 17 from using messaging apps. potentially preventing them from even chatting with their own parents.

However, the fight is not over.

The Council's vote is not the final word. Under EU legislative procedures, the European Parliament must also agree to the extension. Right now, the power to stop this lies with the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE).

They are deliberating this week to set the Parliament's position before the current regulation expires in April. If the LIBE Committee stands firm and rejects the extension, this mass surveillance regime can still be stopped.

We must act now to influence their decision.

Please do not stay silent. Contact the LIBE Committee members. Tell them to reject the extension of the Regulation and to defend our fundamental right to privacy.

We need targeted, judicial solutions, not a permanent state of mass surveillance.

While I'm on the topic of bad internet bills in Canada, here are other bills you should call your Senators and House of Commons Representatives about!

Bill C-12 just completed it's first reading in the Senate (2nd chamber for this bill)! Bill C-8 is due for another hearing later this week!

Fight back against these bills while you still have the chance!

ICYMI: Your internet anonymity has an economy behind it.

Tor and onion services aren’t just tech β€” they’re part of a broader business of privacy, hosting, resilience, and risk. Some services support free access; others are funded or monetized in ways that affect real users and networks.

Understanding how the anonymity ecosystem works matters for personal privacy and organizational risk.

Canadians!

Bill S-209 is due for a section by section consideration in the Senate this Thursday (i.e. the equivalent of a full committee markup to Americans)!

Reminder: This bill would mandate privacy invasive Age Verification as well as give the Canadian government the ability to block ANY website that isn't compliant (search engines, Wikipedia, social media, etc.), not just "commercial pornographic websites" like the bill claims! One of the bills' sponsors essentially admitted this!

If this bill passes, it would be massively chilling to privacy and free speech in Canada! The Canadian government would control what you're allowed to see!

VPNs are, at best, a temporary solution here.

Call your Senators and House of Commons Representatives ASAP!
