In other news: I just had two great shows doing live sound for my friends #KoraWinter! And let me tell you, it's so nice when everything just works and everyone's having a great time.
Always nice to work on a mixing desk and not a tablet, which is a nightmare. And don't get me started on mixing with a smartphone 🤮

Theoretical Man Down Dept: Now Imma not saying this resembles any actual prior but if ...IF you lost #FOH would it be feasible ( in some random huge venue, ida now...pick one) to run LR point sources from the #FOH position to some random idiot( again , just sayin)with in ears onstage to ride faders in a tablet or whatever ? The short answer is no. That is not going to work, for a variety of reasons. NOT a back up plan
First date of the #KoraWinter in #Altenburg was okay. Show was at #AntiFascist club #RoteZora with super nice staff!
#MixingDesk was next to and on top of the bar. 😅 Only 7 of 8 of #stagebox inputs were working, acoustic not so great, crowd was alright. Load-in and load-out happened via slide, which was a first for me.
First Gigs of a tour are always rough but this band is always delivering and the setlist is killer 💪
Go to put my #LS9 mixer into action last weekend. I know it's an old console, but I'd take it over an #X32 any day of the week.
Nothing beats mixing #foh!

Sunday #DailyTracks : Many of us as performers would recoil at the suggestion that #FOH might ever be off site (remote)
and...there might still be a truck for broadcast in some places...but even that is not long for this world. Admittedly some tech and show support already is "phoned in" and works just fine in real time. #Techs have not been replaced , in fact those roles have expanded.Thatza my two cents and still got the rest of the roll...
