I was picking map colors for the big colored fantasy map I am creating for a client and that lead me into doing these mini color studies.

I needed some muted tones and tried to find that balance that cheats the eye. :P

Each study took me only about 5-10 minutes tops.
Some are from my brain and others I had some references to.

6 small digital landscape color study paintings signed "hKA" ak.a hiisikoloART.
First one is red toned with blue hue clouds and stone formations over a lake. Next is yellow one with blue and green toned land to the left side that circles a lake. Third is green study with blue-ish sky and orange to yellow gradient falling into a crack in a mountain or forest shape. Fourth is blue study with green at the bottom of an atmosphere and purple at the top whereas in the middle are two floating islands with two moons beten them. Fifith is a light blue stydy where a mountain falls to the far horizon and rocky outcrops surround a river that flows down towards the viewer. It has colors of browns, greens, deeper blues, and light yellows. The last one is yellow toned study with blue-ish lake at the back, city far to the horizon, and a road at the forefront.

Things I created for the (FULL COLOR!!!) map I am currently working on that really tickle my sense of joy:

-Shining rocks
-Magic wall
-CANYONS
-hidden river in a canyon system
-hidden cenotes <3

I hope to get more works like these that give me exciting and fun challenges. :D

I recently finished this private #commission for a DM’s home brew campaign set in #Theros. We collaborated on this #fantasymap to produce a unique sea chart that their players will be using at the table! Fun to design a real prop as well!

🇬🇧 After the circular, here's the rectangular! Because yes, I didn't stop at just one frame. I had a second dilhu_art illustration, and it would have been a shame not to give it its own little box. But since I'm still a rolist and like useful objects, I came up with this other version of a dice tray that can be transformed into a frame when the game is over.

The illustration is in A4 format, and the dice track is quite comfortable, even when you're throwing wheelbarrows. I've yet to test it for real

🇫🇷 Après la circulaire, voici la rectangulaire ! Car oui, je ne me suis pas arrêté à un seul cadre. J'avais une seconde illustration de @dilhu_art et ça aurait été dommage de ne pas lui offrir, elle aussi, son petit écrin. Mais comme je reste un roliste et que j'aime les objets utiles, j'ai imaginé cette autre version de piste à dés pouvant se transformer en cadre lorsque la partie est terminée.

L'illustration est au format A4, la piste à dés est plutôt confortable, même si vous lancez des brouettes. Il me reste à la tester pour de vrai...

Je le répète, mais si vous aimez l'aquarelle et le Japon, foncez admirer le travail de l'illustratrice.
