Week 3 done and I haven’t lost any weight this week but lost half an inch off my waist. Trying very hard to be okay with that as I’m doing everything right regarding my nutrition. Exercise is still a struggle, I’m doing strength and conditioning every day at home and getting in as many outdoor steps as my anxiety will allow.
My mental health is really poor this week and I’ve barely had a good day more like good moments throughout some days. I’ve still been going the gym with @emily_ruby08 she is a star staying with me and working with me physically and mentally to get me through each session. Even with her help I find it deeply stressful and uncomfortable. I don’t know if I will ever like it but I hope it will become bearable.
I’ve dropped a dress size, well at least in Asda and primark I have. But I’m still waiting for my brain to catch up with the dress size thing, I don’t feel any smaller and I’m not happy I really thought I would be. Diet is going well, only downside is my clothes are now hanging off me.
Week two weigh in and I’ve dropped another 4lb and lost 0.5in off my waist!!
That’s 12lb total and 4in off my waist in total!!!!!!!!
Absolutely buzzing with my progress 💪🏼. So much so I couldn’t wait to take my selfie this morning to share my progress so please excuse my morning roughness. I think the smile says it all, sheer joy 🥰.

Real vegans roll their balls in their palms!

This morning (as a small distraction from losing mum to #cancer 2 years ago today) I’ve been mostly making misshapen air fryer date & apricot #falafel.

Packed with overnight soaked chickpeas, fresh coriander/parsley/dill/mint… plus cumin, hint of chilli, shallots, apricots and dates.

Full of Middle Eastern flavour. Delish…!

Now to make a hummus accompaniment…
