Researchers from the University of Nottingham are looking to speak with autistic transgender/gender diverse adults about their experience of healthcare.

Titled: What is your experience? Exploring the experience of gender identity healthcare for Autistic Transgender/Gender Diverse Adults. The purpose of the research is to explore the experiences of autistic transgender/gender diverse adults who are accessing/have accessed/tried to access gender identity healthcare. Who can take part? To take part you must be: 18 years and older, Experience of gender identity healthcare in the UK, Identify as transgender/gender diverse (E.G., transgender, nonbinary), Have a diagnosis of autism What will I be asked to do? Demographic questionnaire (approx 20 minutes) EG. Age, Gender, Tell us in an interview (approx. 90 minutes) about your experiences of gender identity healthcare Affiliations. Aim: The aim is to gain a deeper understanding of personal experiences and narratives of individuals who are gender diverse and born into a Sikh family. How they navigate and understand their journey. Arrow to who can take part Who can take part: Anyone over the age of 18; currently living in the UK. Identify as gender diverse (ie individuals who do not identify as cis-gender) Arrow to what is involved What is involved 60Minute online interview. With some predetermined questions around your personal relationship between gender diversity and religion.
