Interviews: One "lucky" player remains on Splatoon 1 Nintendo servers, here's how it happened.
I was inkredibly lucky to be able to interview @Lcd101@twitter.com earlier, who is the last player known to be still connected to Nintendo Network servers playing Splatoon 1.
They are just one of 9 players who remain on Nintendo Network servers.
I put forward 6 questions of my own to them and 3 from community members (yamari, @jackemled and @insert) at https://paper.wf/splatoon/a-lucky-player-is-still-playing-splatoon-1-on-nintendo-servers-heres-how-it, and it's truly interesting to see how they managed to become the last player playing Splatoon on Nintendo servers.

#3ds #Pretendo is nice and all, but I'm seeing #cheaters very often, I wonder if there were many of these lame breeds in the Nintendo servers, my best guess would be yes, but possibly not very noticeable because of the bigger user base.
Anyway, I can't deny I'm having a blast with #MK7!
We are doing a #MarioKart7 event tomorrow at 8:30pm GMT.

The weirdest thing just happened to our VW Golf. Si just rang me from the fuel station, "the filler flap won't open!!". I told him to come home and we'll look at it. We couldn't get it to open with normal use! We ended up asking google and we found a forum post which said to get in the car and lock the car using the lock button on the door, then press the unlock button on the key, hey presto the damn thing flew open! Don't know why it won't open normally. Has anyone else had this?
There's more of an explanation for the #MK7 #MarioKart7, #Splatoon2, #ACNH, #SMM2, #ARMS as well as a few other games that they recently received.
If you're a Wii U owner though, I'd be concerned for using most Nintendo Network services.
In case you haven't seen my reposts, Mario Kart 7 received an update for the first time in 10 years and 7 months.
I still can't believe this, reasoning for update is unknown with NOA providing a lack of a description, and data miners don't seem to know either.
@jurjen_heeck @nixCraft ah, yes, that thing. Perhaps they've removed it from their production or disabled it in favour for subs model. If the former, you may be able to enable it with an #OBD2 scanner. My #Volkswagen #Golf #MK7 didn't have it enabled by default, but I enabled it using a scanner. #Skoda has the same or similar OBD long codes, I believe, so you could give that a try.
