**How should we initiate a project?**
That's always a fun topic in new languages! With Elixir, it's a pretty great story:
`mix new your-project-name`
This sets the project settings (`mix.exs`) and adds some boilerplate, including:
- a placeholder module
- placeholder test for that module
Going to try some #OpenLearning threads! This one's for **#elixir**
When learning a new language, I like to pick up the syntax from examples while learning:
1. Types
2. Control Flow
3. Code Reuse
4. Architecture
This is **exactly** how the #elixir docs are arranged, and that's awesome. I'll call out some of the interesting bits as I go!
