2024-11-24 (Sunday): I'm trying something new by spinning up some Linux VMs and infecting them using information I get from the scans hitting my web servers.

For example, I found the latest #Redtail bash script leading to #Linux #ELF #malware, this time from 45.202.35[.]190.

I know most people probably use #Probes nowadays, and if you spike-sort all channels together this shouldn't be a problem. I also haven't seen it (yet) with independently-moveable tetrodes, which makes sense as they'll be farther away from each other. So it's probably just restricted to bundles of tetrodes, but still, we have lots of papers out there that use bundles!

I’ve worked with all sorts of sensors over the years.

Here’s an article I wrote you might enjoy about workshops I did in 1982 where teachers built thermistor temperature probes they plugged into Apple 2 computers and wrote a 10-line BASIC program to graph the real time data. Turns out many years later I found out they learned so much more!
