1. Kooperationsprojekt Grüninsel: mobile, grüne Inseln, konzipiert und gebaut von Studierenden der Pädagogischen Hochschule Weingarten und der RWU
2. Zukunftsgrün! - Spiel ohne Grenzen: Wissensaustausch und Ideenwettbewerb zwischen Bodenseekommunen
3. Hofgut Nessenreben: neue Konzepte für einen Begegnungs- und Bildungsort zur Nachhaltigkeit

RWU "opposes this UP-NS merger as well as any and all takeovers, mergers, or other combinations of the remaining Class One railroads under the current system of private ownership," the resolution states.

"The only further consolidation of the continent's rail system that #RWU would support is one that is publicly owned—how most nations' #rail infrastructure is owned and operated today—and where the railroad #workers are included in all aspects of managing #railroad operations," the document concludes.

Gemeinsame Promotion von PH und RWU

Markus Dumschat hat es geschafft: Nach dem hochschulübergreifenden Studienmodell der Pädagogischen Hochschule Weingarten (PH) und der RWU hat er seine Dissertation erfolgreich abgeschlossen! 👨‍🎓

Markus Dumschat hat sich für den Bachelor-Studiengang „Fahrzeugtechnik Plus Lehramt“ entschieden – ein Studienmodell, das Ingenieurwissenschaften und den Lehrerberuf miteinander vereint und ihm eine flexible Grundlage für seine berufliche Zukunft bietet. „Dieser Studiengang verbindet zwei berufliche Welten und bietet mir nicht nur den Weg als Ingenieur, sondern auch als wissenschaftliche Lehrkraft an einer gewerblichen Schule“, so Markus.

Was er damals noch nicht wusste: Der Masterstudiengang an der PH Weingarten öffnete ihm auch die Möglichkeit zur Promotion – eine Chance, die er später mit einer Dissertation zur Verbindung von Ingenieur- und Erziehungswissenschaften nutzte. 🎓

Nach seinem Studium sammelte Markus umfassende Erfahrungen als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter und Dozent, bevor er seit 2022 als technischer Vertriebsingenieur bei Keller Lufttechnik tätig ist und innovative Lösungen zur Luftreinhaltung für die Pharma- und Chemieindustrie entwickelt. Ein stärkerer Praxisbezug zu Beginn des Studiums, mehr Exkursionen und die Einbindung von Alumni könnten das Modell noch weiter bereichern. „Diese Maßnahmen würden nicht nur die berufliche Orientierung verbessern, sondern auch den Studienstandort Weingarten weiter profilieren“, so Dumschat.
