@uvok Donkey's years ago i dipped my toe in the water with #GnuCash, but i was not smart enough for it, so it made me go 🤯 I've been happily using #KMyMoney for several years, with a brief dalliance in #Skrooge. Atm i've decided to explore GnuCash again coz it's several versions on from back when i looked at it. So far i've imported several, but not all, of my KMM Accounts, & figured out some of the differences, but i still have much to do before i'll know if it might now be suitable for me. Not only, but especially, one of the showstoppers would be if i can't create reports showing projected forward balances [based on current balances + all my repeating scheduled transactions] as line charts. KMM does this quite well, & i rely on it heavily for longer term household budgeting purposes.

Was empfiehlt sich aktuell so für die Familien-Finanzplanung?
#fireflyiii sieht interessant aus, aber ist das auch lokal via Docker gut nutzbar? Wie hürdenlose ist der CSV-Import?
Ich brauche etwas mit guter grafischer Auswertung, und so wenig Alltagsaufwand wie möglich.. 😉

Around 5 years ago I started noting all my incomes and expenses in #Skrooge (https://skrooge.org/). Looking at charts it's generating is a bit disappointing, but it's still awesome to have any charts to look at.

I have a rant about a couple of #flatpak apps. I know, I know, #flatpakapps are awesome, and well integrated in my #kdeneon system.
But with #keepassxc and #skrooge there is an annoying issue that prevent me to use them. Both apps open files in read-only mode, so you can't save and reuse anything 😖 .
