So one of the things we went over yesterday in the meeting I had was the fact that in order for me to take Math 121 next semester,, calc 1, I need to complete trig.
The alternative is that I accuplace out of it and go directly into calc. Otherwise I'll be wasting time next semester with trig, so yay for extra studying and cramming in the next two weeks.
Don't suppose anyone has any notes from a trig course they'd be willing to share with me so I can try to avoid this if I can? I'm a very quick studdy, especially when motivated.

The minutes with the naming decision [1] do not mention the full name of #TriG, nor do later renaming discussions [2,3]. But up to the initial draft [4] it is thought as an alternative of #TriX, which is an abbreviation for "RDF Triples in XML" [5]. So, TriG might be an abbreviation for "RDF Triples in Graphs"?

I'll be chronicling my trig teaching experiences and experiments here.
I am taking a contextual approach. There is quite some pushback on this approach from educators even though research suggests it is actually useful.
My journey will dive deeper into why this is the case.

Oddly, geometry & trigonometry is one of the things I learned in high school that I still use to this day. It comes up in all kinds of software engineering that has no obvious connection to graphs, plots, GIS, or anything like that.
