Before the winter break I wrote about 8 chapters for my next book, a sequel to Shadowed Memories. Getting back to it, I've decided to rewrite what I've already got, while trying to get a bit of a different style and tone down. Pray to Meraki (god of creativity/creation) it works out well. If it doesn't... I won't cry about scrapping the new words and leaning more into what I've already written while pressing forward. Either way, I'm writing, and making progress in becoming a better writer while trying to further refine my writing style. Don't forget to keep dreaming, and working towards your goals. ~E.L.F.

One of my favorite podcasts covered The Warrens, the couple who's stories spawned a huge horror universe from The Conjuring movies, to The Nun, and of course The Amityville Horror. If you know me, you probably know that I love horror movies, and I do enjoy these flicks, but I do get annoyed with the way they are portrayed as reality...that said, Stuff You Should Know does a great job of going through the claims presented by The Warrens (which are covered in the films) and breaking down reality (like I didn't know they actually went to a writer to work up the story used in the first Conjuring movie, and the writer was interviewed and of course said how of course everything is all made up). Love the movies, annoyed with how people take them as true occurrences, instead of, "strange things happen, that were unexplained," or, "some people have undiagnosed conditions and need actual help, not religious intervention," etc. The podcast is worth a listen, and can be found all around (I personally use Pocket Casts on android to listen to stuff).
