We opened a packet of chocolate hobnob #biscuits earlier. I fear they won't last long, the half life of an open hobnob packet in this house is about 24 hours.

I checked the feet of our #sheep today. Normally they get bribed with a biscuit each. Half a biscuit before the foot check, the other half afterwards. Today I had no biscuits. It’s fair to say that half the sheep are now quite happy to get on the table for the foot check, licking their lips whilst doing so, but also they don’t want to get off the table afterwards, as I have not fulfilled my side of the deal.

なんか急に思いついてピスタチオ入りのビスケット焼いちゃった。バターたっぷりで口に入れた途端ほろほろと崩れるの。材料はアーモンドミール、バター、卵黄、砂糖、ピスタチオ。菓子類はしっかり計量しないとうまく行かないと言われるけど私はいつも目分量とカンでやってしまう。でも案外上手くいくよ

Some of the biscuits rose a bit more, but now I'll remember to not roll them out so thin.
No matter. A bit of butter (the end bit of the stick that I didn't push through the box grater - see 1 👆🏽) brushed on top covers that all up!
Enjoyed the blissful aroma and then ate a few with a touch of jam, a drizzle of honey and then a fried egg and spot of leftover gravy. No sausage - maybe next time, these came together quick spur of the post shoveling snow moment
