won't exit the gaming market, but rather explore higher profits.

pcworld.com/article/3013044/th

Thinking they will exit the market is ludicrous. They will, instead, put their products at a higher markup and abuse their position based on "experience", not performance.

MINISFORUM AtomMan G1 Pro mini gaming PC with RTX 5060 graphics coming in January 2026

The MINISFORUM G1 Pro is a compact desktop computer that looks more like a game console than a PC… although the lines separating those product categories are getting blurry these days.

Inside this little computer is an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX Dragon Range processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 discrete GPU. First introduced earlier this year, the G1 Pro is now available for pre-order from the […]

Yeah, whine all you want, you still buy an and NVIDIA will keep milking consumers.

They're past giving a shit, and me too.

It's getting better? Yes

Will you still use ? Yes.

What should focus on is to bring all of their SKU to use ROCm stable on all platforms. Currently that isn't possible, which is frustrating given their cards have more memory than at the same price.

One of the most interesting videos from LTT this month must be this «Make your GPU faster for USD$7»:

For that price looks like a steal, but if you have another old GPU laying around or a decent iGPU, it begs to be used as Scaling GPU.

Just noted about the firs commercially-available (at the end of the year) GPU from China.

videocardz.com/newz/chinese-li

It doesn't look like a card to win over RTX 5060 and RX 9060 XT users, but if the price and volume (TSMC N6) are right, we might have a fourth competitor, as long you don't mind the lack of RayTracing.

I tend to believe there are two people who buy RTX:

1. Those who buy because they are great regardless of price.
2. Those who buy to punish AMD.

Both people are correct.

At this point I don't care whatever releases. They're a corp that likes tail to me. Intel better deliver with (Arc C580).

Unless the availability and price is disruptive, I'll still prefer a laptop with an RTX.

My guess? Navi 44 will appear on lower-end models. The 9070M XT and 9080M will appear at the $1,800 markup. Otherwise is DOA.

But history tends to repeat itself.

OFC, everyone from #GPU #manufacturer brand to #BoardPartner to #Retailer & #TaxOffice profit from #Scalping-level prices.

Consumers have a choice, and refusing to upgrade or buy a #dGPU but stick with an #iGPU is the only feasible way to get it done!

THEY. FUCKING. GOT. THEIR. SHIT. TOGETHER.

- RX 9070XT $599
- RX 9070 $549

m.youtube.com/live/GZfFPI8LJrc

They got the start right. Now they have to deliver in shelves and benchmarks.

2025-02-25

Giving the real price of RTX5070Ti (and probably the RTX 5070) are nowhere near the MSRP, the new AMD cards may have a shot in the market.

My take? RX 9070 at $599, RX 9070 XT at $699, and people will still wait for RTX in stock.

2025-02-18

The good about the Ryzen 395+ Max? The GPU slaps harder than a truck to the face. RTX 4070 Mobile level of performance.

The bad?
- is still NVIDIA and Apple turf.
- MacBook still reigns on Battery Life

The ugly?
- On a $2,300 laptop.

This ain't it Chief.

«Stop buying NVIDIA and their overpriced cards!»

Unless AMD disrupts the market like Intel is doing it with the , I expect another year with this list being all NVIDIA.

2025-02-02

Answer: yes.

People are willing to pay $2,000 for the best gaming GPU in the world.

Don't like it? A console will welcome you with open arms.

2025-02-02

If can deliver this level of performance for less than $700, it will be great

The problem is that is so far beyond the in the laptop market that it's difficult to justify $700 for a laptop without an RTX, with an AMD or Intel CPU.
