I was #DoingOk but my husband said I “needed to hear this” meaning the latest scandal. My mind spinning out of control since.

But I’m working to refocus on the immediate not the political news…

My husband has improved but he overestimates my reaction to “this is MAJOR”

I agree though. It IS MAJOR. Everything that’s going on is major. IT’S ALL EFFING MAJOR” But I can’t think about all that stuff or my mind races and I sink in restlessness, fatigue and despair (a category I now track as part of my daily healthcheck)

I’ve been dealing with daily panic attacks because of PTSD.

I arrived an hour early for a dental appointment since they needed to give me Ativan.

Waiting for the Ativan to kick in so I can give zero fucks.

When I shared with my boss that I’m struggling with my mental health, he was honestly surprised. He said I’m like a ray of sunshine when I’m in the office. 🌞 I commented that’s because he hasn’t seen me cry. 😭
