SOULFUL

He said, the light shone through it, and he was right. A spider had spun its web between two of the iron rods, which sparkled golden with rainbow colours, in the low afternoon sun. The slow bass of Gaya's song set the metal into a coherent vibration that allowed something divisive like this fence to become a part of a natural harmony. Yes, it separated his garden from the surrounding grove. But it allowed for connection, too. His view on things was refreshing. She looked at him, while he was charging. He was changing. It was as if he became more humanoid, each day, not on the outside, but on the inside.

By only ever punishing anti-genocide speech, and never those who express unqualified support for a genocidal regime (or who even seek to justify its extreme violence through appeal to a 'right to defend itself'), political authorities send the clear message that we ought to be tolerant of those who support exterminative violence and intolerant of those who oppose it.
