Antes de q se impusiera la modernidad, diferentes pueblos del mundo estaban unidos en fiesta este dia, sabiendose inter y ecodependientes a los ritmos de la naturaleza y a la comunidad!
En estos dias celtas celebraban el solsticio de verano como #litha por el sur el de invierno: mapuches el #WeTripantu y quechuas el #intiraymi !

Hoy es la noche del solsticio de verano. La magia reina en la noche de litha. En tiempos pretéritos, la gente creía que las plantas que florecían o germinaban durante el solsticio tenían ciertas cualidades especiales, o bien poderes curativos y sanadores extraordinarios.

Hoy el día importante en el #paganismo, ya que se festeja #litha

litha es la fiesta del solsticio de verano de origen celta, aparece en la rueda del año, es una celebración antiquísima. Muchos investigadores creen que se celebra desde una época anterior al neolítico. A lo largo de los tiempos, los celtas han festejado Litha en honor al verano, a las cosechas y al astro rey que lo hace todo posible.

Litha siempre ha sido una fiesta del fuego. Se celebra el solsticio de verano como un gran acontecimiento. En la Litha celta, entre muchas otras cosas, había hogueras y había bailes.

Esta fiesta está indisolublemente unida a las hogueras. Ya desde antiguo se encendían multitud de fuegos durante esta celebración. Hoy se siguen haciendo, decenas, cientos, miles de lumbres. Hogueras por todas partes. En aquellos tiempos pretéritos se pensaba que las cenizas resultantes de las brasas de estos fuegos que ardían durante esta noche mágica poseían poderes protectores. A veces eran utilizadas sobre las tierras de cultivo, para favorecer las cosechas. Otras veces eran llevadas por los propios celtas, en saquitos, a modo de talismán.

El agua, tan importante y simbólica para los celtas, también estaba presente en esta celebración. Tanto mujeres como hombres se bañaban en ríos y lagos con el objetivo de renovarse, purificarse o incluso ser más fértiles.
Los celtas recogían hierbas y otras plantas durante esta noche, pues creían que el solsticio multiplicaba su poder. También se adornaban con guirnaldas y coronas de flores.

Que tengan un bello y mágico Litha.
