On the u3a natural history walk we came across this rock, which is very artistically painted. It was up near the Drake Stone above Harbottle and we left it for others to see. Whoever Mel is, it brought a smile to our faces!

Cathedral rock in Painted Rock National Seashore- glorious multicolored orange toned cliffs on crystal clear blue water. Cathedral Rock has holes/arches in it at the top, with a lone white pine sitting on top. The pine was once connected to the land via an arch, and the arch has broken away, leaving a bridge of it's roots bare as it reaches out to it's friends.

Ol' doggo made it to the west side of the Eastern Time Zone.

It's that time of year to get the gardens and lawns tidied up after a long winter. Raking and trimming. There are a few brave green shoots struggling to break out and some wannabe buds on the trees. Love this time of year. Changes are visible every day.
Saw this little gem in a flower bed while exploring one of the civic gardens. Painted rocks are a pure form of art available to everyone. Plus, they're a delight to discover.
